As a member of the Product Operations Strategy team, this role supports the development and execution of initiatives that guide product delivery for UnitedHealthcare's Medicare Advantage plans and programs. The Product Manager represents Product Operations across organizational initiatives while overseeing day-to-day payment card operations for Government Programs.
The UCard Product Manager partners with leaders, business stakeholders, and peers to align communications, expectations, and execution across the organization. This position helps maintain a consistent operating model by leveraging existing resources, developing new documentation, upholding quality standards, and continuously refining team processes to meet evolving federal requirements and organizational priorities.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in project-based work with Product, Government Programs, and broader UHG functional teams
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Medicaid financial VAB products, partnering with business stakeholders to shape product direction and respond to inquiries
- Assist with executive reporting and product strategy documentation
- Support the development of executive presentations and materials for product overview sessions
- Conduct analytical, experimental, investigative, and fact-finding work to deliver data-driven insights that support product development strategies
- Support Medicaid product planning and RFP processes, including documentation reviews, materials reviews, and go-live readiness assessments
- Perform daily payment card operations, including issuance, escalations, maintenance, and reporting

Required Qualifications:
- Core Government Programs / Medicare / Medicaid experience
- Project and deadline management
- Matrixed-environment multitasking
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated problem-solving and attention to detail
- Demonstrated organization and ambiguity management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Senior management presentation experience
- Experience creating and manipulating large data files
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Demonstrated solid cross-functional collaboration with a results-oriented mindset

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
